ABOUT THE ROLE
You will perform in a lead high-level specialist role, as a subject matter expert on healthcare projects, focused on team and client leadership, mentoring our people, and advancing the quality of our work.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
Actively seek to further the state of the art within our industry and develop innovative solutions as the needs of researchers evolve. Collaborate effectively with a project team to provide technical expertise in programming and planning. Lead user group meetings to collect and refine program needs and assess space utilization. Communicate planning concepts to project teams and owners, verbally and through reports, and work with architectural designers to optimize plans. Translate planning concepts into understandable terms for clients, designers, and team members. Lead the development, modification, and review of planning concepts and solutions. Develop architectural drawings and specifications to translate planning into project documentation. Develop project scope, plan, and services during contract negotiations. Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects. Maintain excellent relationships with clients and potential clients. Guide and advise other designers and project leaders. Other duties as assigned. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 10 years of related experience. Experience as a subject matter expert on healthcare projects, including large or complex projects. Licensure or registration in the U.S. preferred. LEED accreditation preferred. Knowledge of building codes and requirements. Advanced knowledge in the discipline. Business acumen. Strong verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions. Ability to lead less experienced team members. Technical coordination skills and ability to build rapport with teams and clients. Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam. The salary range for this position in Denver is $117,000 to $146,200 annually. This range reflects the anticipated base salary at posting but may vary based on experience, education, and location.
