Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy of orders, preparing shipping documents, and processing shipments Work with transportation providers to arrange shipments, manage transportation costs, and optimize routes Support warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and ensure proper storage and handling of materials Facilitate communication between different departments, including production, procurement, and distribution, to ensure smooth workflow Address issues related to shipments, delivery delays, or inventory shortages Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations related to transportation and warehousing Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct Report quality problems or defects to a manager or senior management for corrective action to avoid recurrence Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent Some prior work experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational and time management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software; analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented and accurate Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards Preferred experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation General understanding of logistics processes, transportation modes, and warehousing operations Experience with international shipping; DoD security clearance capabilities may be required Physical Demands
