Provide comprehensive oral health care that includes preventive dental care, dietary recommendations, and use of fluoride and sealants. Diagnose and treat dental decay, oral diseases, and injuries. Manage dental trauma and emergencies. Educate and counsel children and their parents about preventive dental care, diet, and other aspects of oral health. Conduct oral screenings and risk assessments for infants and children. Develop and maintain a treatment plan for patients with special health care needs. Maintain patient records and documentation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive healthcare plan for the patient. Stay updated with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry and participate in continuous professional development activities. Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school. Completion of a Pediatric Dentistry Residency from an accredited program. Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the state (required). Exceptional clinical skills in all aspects of pediatric dentistry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. Ability to handle a high volume of patients while maintaining high-quality care. Strong commitment to ongoing education and staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in pediatric dentistry.
