The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation. The role includes abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler studies and interventional procedures, applying a solid understanding of growth and development principles to assess individual patient needs and deliver appropriate care. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program specializing in sonography, credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – ARDMS or RDMS. Proficient in real time, color flow, Doppler, transvaginal, biopsies, interventional procedures. Benefits
