Phlebotomist III Float - Kansas City, MO Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-8:00PM availability (Rotational Weekends). Travel may be required between patient service centers or doctor’s offices. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Job description: In a Phlebotomy float role you will experience a variety of work where no two days will look the same. $21.24+ per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Depending on whether the position is part-time or full-time, some benefits may include: Day 1 Medical, supplemental health, dental & vision for full-time employees working 30+ hours Well-being programs and Blueprint for Wellness® HealthyMINDS mental health program Vacation and Health/Flex Time 6 holidays plus 1 MyDay off FinFit financial coaching and services 401(k) pre-tax and/or Roth IRA with company match up to 5% after 12 months of service Employee stock purchase plan Life and disability insurance, plus buy-up option Flexible Spending Accounts Annual incentive plans Matching gifts program Education assistance through MyQuest for Education Career advancement opportunities Responsibilities Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomist duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams) Enter billing information and collect payment when required Coach, mentor, instruct, and act as a resource advisor for new employees; serve as point of contact on site and provide input to the group lead or supervisor Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington Work Experience Five years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Minimum 3 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred Keyboard/data entry experience English communication skills required.
