Compensation: The pay range for this position is $22-$25/hr dependent on licensure and experience.
VCA Columbia Animal Hospital at Hickory Ridge is seeking a highly experienced Veterinary Assistant or RVT to join our 6-doctor Primary Care practice. Our team has been serving Howard County and surrounding area for 50 years. We are AHAA accredited and AAFP Silver Certified Cat Friendly Practice, committed to a Fear Free environment and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
Physical examinations and patient assessment
Anesthesia monitoring
Surgical preparation and assisting
Dentistry
Radiology
Laboratory work
Venipuncture
Catheter placement
Pharmacy
Patient recovery
Compassionate care of hospitalized animals
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 3 years of veterinary assistant or technician experience
Comfort with sample collection, catheter placement, anesthetic monitoring, radiology, and client education
Ability to commute or relocate before starting work
