Senior Clinician
to join our Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) located in Westborough, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescents facing serious mental health challenges, while enjoying the benefits of a low caseload and no on-call duties. About the Program
Our IRTP facilities serve male and female youth referred through the Department of Mental Health (DMH). These short-term, locked residential programs provide intensive therapeutic support to adolescents struggling with serious mental illness and/or severe emotional and behavioral disturbances. At NFI, we are committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for both our clients and our staff. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of clinical services tailored to the individual needs of each client. Conduct assessments for new referrals and arrange or perform testing and evaluations as needed. Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans in collaboration with program staff, external service providers, clients, and their families (when appropriate). Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in accordance with funding source regulations. Provide one-on-one counseling as outlined in each client\'s treatment plan. Design and facilitate therapeutic groups to support clients in a structured milieu. Work closely with program management and staff to ensure a therapeutic environment that aligns with clinical best practices. Facilitate family meetings and home visits as part of the treatment process. Serve as a liaison with psychiatrists and other agencies providing auxiliary clinical services. Participate in case conferences, treatment meetings, and clinical reviews. Be familiar with and adhere to all program emergency procedures. Participate in on-call rotation as part of the program leadership. Attend program leadership meetings. Provide supervision for non-clinical positions in the department such as case management positions. Provide leadership and support to the clinical department while gaining supervisory experience. Completed
Master\'s Degree
in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required). Licensure eligible
for LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT (required). Strong understanding of trauma and its impact on adolescent mental health. Prior experience working with adolescents and their families, with expertise in crisis stabilization and management. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills. Must be fully vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated against COVID-19, in accordance with state regulations. Salary:
