Job Summary This position works under general supervision of physician, mid‑level provider, and/or nursing supervisor to provide nursing services in care and treatment of patients.

Required Experience and Education
Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
1 year RN experience
Nursing Licensure Compact‑BNE upon hire
AHS certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, TNCC, PALS, NRP (required upon hire or within specified time frames)
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree BSN
Job Duties
Perform and document physical and psychosocial assessments following age‑specific criteria.
Anticipate patient/family needs to develop appropriate care plans.
Implement nursing interventions based on assessment and document accurately.
Coordinate interdisciplinary care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team.
Prioritize interventions and respond to changes in patient condition.
Adhere to hospital policies, clinical pathways, ANA standards, and the Professional Practice Model “Relationship Based Care.”
Provide patient education and document discharge plans.
Orient patients/families to the unit and encourage participation in care.
Perform other duties as assigned.
