Part-Time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Corpus Christi, TX 1099 Independent Contractor Opportunity A fast-growing mobile wound care organization is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to deliver advanced wound care services to patients in homes and care facilities throughout Corpus Christi, Texas and surrounding areas. This is a part-time 1099 contractor role offering flexible scheduling, competitive daily pay, and specialized training.

Compensation

Responsibilities

Travel locally throughout Corpus Christi and surrounding areas to provide comprehensive wound care Conduct assessments, reach informed diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans Perform procedures including debridement, biologic patch application, and UltraMIST therapy Document encounters using AdvancedMD EMR Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and wound care specialists to ensure continuity of care Build trust and compassion in every patient interaction

Requirements

Active and unrestricted NP or PA license with board certification Willingness to travel within the designated service area Availability for Monday–Friday training schedule (initial onboarding) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered wound care Willingness to travel out-of-state for initial training DEA not required

Training Overview

Training: Paid 3-week full-time onboarding (Mon–Fri, day shifts) Week 1: Virtual orientation and EMR training Weeks 2 & 3: 4–5 days of in-person clinical training with an Advanced Wound Care Trainer (travel required)
