As a Nurse Practitioner with a primary care focus, you will provide comprehensive care across all life spans in a thriving primary care setting. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, treat, and educate patients across the spectrum of primary care; manage symptoms, treatment options, drug interactions, and preventive care. Apply knowledge of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental health concerns. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Operate computers and clinical software effectively. Develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based treatment plans. Counsel patients and families on medical conditions and care plans. Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform care decisions. Licensure: Texas RN licensure (or compact license) and current Texas NP license. Certifications: National Nurse Practitioner certification in the area of specialty; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer. Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Certifications: Certified Primary Care NP or Family NP. Licensing: Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain). CPR/BLS: Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Benefits
