New York City, NY Evoke Psychology is a small therapy practice in the heart of New York City. At Evoke, we have a dual mission: To provide the highest quality, empirically supported and compassionate care to our patients and families. An ideal applicant would be a seasoned psychologist who wants the independence of a private practice and the support and collaboration of a group practice. Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join the Evoke team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals across diverse backgrounds. Clinicians at Evoke are expected to utilize evidence-based practices, such as CBT and DBT, to promote mental well-being across the lifespan. Optional responsibilities that can be opted into include - team consultation meetings, school trainings, supervision of future trainees, and providing services utilizing a sliding scale fee structure. Responsibilities
Provide individual and group therapy for clients with a range of mental health issues. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain accurate and confidential client records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in psychology. Participate in supervision/consultation and professional development opportunities. Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA accredited institution. Licensed to practice psychology in New York State. Minimum 2 years of licensed clinical practice required. Experience in clinical settings, particularly with providing empirically supported treatment protocols including but not limited to: DBT, ERP, PE, and other specialty treatments. Competency in CBT is required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients. Experience treating a range of disorders and ages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning. Compensation and Benefits
