Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online pathology tutoring to students, tailoring instruction to each learner’s needs. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Use the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions remotely (no commuting). Be matched with students whose learning style and needs align with your expertise. Utilize AI-powered tools (Tutor Copilot) to enhance sessions, generate lesson content, and support engagement. Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and related logistics. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Pathology with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred. Compensation and Benefits
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; with the same student, pay can reach up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week. Set your own hours and tutor as frequently as you’d like. Remote tutoring via a purpose-built platform. About Varsity Tutors
