Overview
OH - Staff-RN - Variable Shift - Adena Pike Emergency Department. The Staff Nurse, RN provides nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate the patient\'s plan of care; while creating an atmosphere that supports our mission to care, to heal, to educate. The Staff Nurse, RN as the primary caregiver provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care as the primary caregiver and collaborate with care team members, physicians, and patients/families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Apply nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Maintain patient confidentiality and exercise professional judgment in accordance with hospital policies. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and education. Qualifications
Active state nursing license (RN). Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications; ER experience required. Minimum 3 years of nursing experience. EMR: EPIC. Bilingual: No. Must be currently active state license. Details
Location: Adena Pike Medical Center (Waverly, Ohio). Shifts: Variable shift; hours will vary to cover gaps where needed. Minimum guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Specialty: Nursing; Sub Specialty: Floor Nurse, Registered Nurse, Emergency Room Nurse. Vacation coverage required: Yes. This position may float to other Adena locations or units with similar or lower acuity as needed. Job Functions
