Physician Assistant – General Surgery

Overview St. Peters Health Partners is seeking a Surgical PA to join the St. Peters Hospital General Surgery team located in Albany, NY. The surgical physician assistant will work with surgeons in General, Bariatric, and Urology surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic approaches.

Responsibilities

First assisting, admissions, and rounding on the campus of St. Peters Hospital located in Albany, NY.

Schedule: St. Peters PA coverage is 2 x 12-hour shifts and 2 x 8-hour shifts.

Weekends: currently 1:4.

Requirements

NYS Licensure and DEA required.

Graduation from an AMA-approved program and Board Certification.

Both experienced and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE St. Peters Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

$22,500 sign on incentive paid out as follows:

$7,500 starting bonus

$5,000 retention bonus year 2

$5,000 retention bonus year 3

$5,000 relocation assistance

Competitive base salary range $125,000-$143,000

Paid malpractice, including post-SPHP employment tail coverage

CME time & expense allowance - $2,500 annually
