Provide healthcare for patients of the St. Bernards Behavioral Health Outpatient Counseling Center and St. Bernard Behavioral Health Inpatient. Assess health status of patients; formulate an appropriate differential diagnosis. Prescribe medications within scope; develop and carry out a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Periodically or based on facility needs, be responsible for independent medication management and care of inpatients during their stay. Qualifications
Licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN). Certification by a national certifying body with prescriptive privileges; Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner required. Three (3) years in a psychiatric setting desired. This is a safety-sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information. Normal office environment; ability to perform required physical tasks (vision, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, handling objects); lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs; may be exposed to airborne and infectious materials.
