Gallop To Growth, PLLC is a dynamic mental health practice with locations in Cottonwood Heights and Layton, Utah, offering both traditional talk therapy and equine-assisted psychotherapy. We specialize in helping individuals, children, families, and veterans find healing through a personalized and experiential approach. Our licensed clinicians guide clients toward emotional wellness using evidence-based practices and the unique therapeutic power of the horse-human connection. We are dedicated to helping clients build emotional resilience, connection, and healing through nature-based and experiential modalities.
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and compassionate therapist to join our growing team and provide Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy services in a supportive, collaborative environment. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into full-time as your caseload grows. You’ll work closely with an equine specialist and a licensed clinical director to deliver high-quality care in a unique outdoor setting. Responsibilities
Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using the EAP model Collaborate with an equine specialist and clinical team Participate in initial and ongoing training in EAP and experiential therapy Complete progress notes and treatment plans in a timely and ethical manner Attend team meetings and case consultations as needed Qualifications
Must hold an active Utah license as a CSW, LCSW, or CMHC Strong interest in experiential, nature-based, or alternative therapy modalities Passionate about helping clients heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational issues Willingness to be trained in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (no prior certification required) Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Preferred (But Not Required)
Experience with trauma-informed care or DBT/CBT Interest in working with youth, veterans, or underserved populations What We Offer
