Atlanta Oncology RN Job Details
Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 – Buckhead area, ideal for Georgia healthcare professionals seeking travel RN jobs
Setting: 65-chair Outpatient Infusion Center
Start Date: November 3, 2025
End Date: January 31, 2026
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:45am – 7:00pm), 3 shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1840 per week
Employment Type: Travel Nursing / Locum Tenens
Holiday Coverage: Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Oncology Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing and bone marrow transplant experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia or compact state
BLS certification (required)
Chemo certification (required)
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
No local candidates within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA
Oncology RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to oncology patients receiving intravenous infusions
Administer chemotherapy and other IV treatments following established clinical protocols
Monitor patient responses, manage infusion-related side effects, and provide clinical support
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
Educate and support patients and families with compassion throughout the treatment process
Participate in required holiday coverage as part of the healthcare team
