Physician - OB GYN Gynecology
Join our full‑time team at Ascension Wisconsin. The position is located at Columbia St. Mary’s Milwaukee and follows a 40‑hour per week schedule. The role is for a Gynecologic Oncology (GYN/Onc) physician using EPIC as the EMR system.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
MD or DO credentialed by the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board prior to hire date.
Board Certified or Board Eligible GYN/Onc.
Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care.
Accept patient referrals from other physicians; act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization.
Participate in academic programs (medical education and research) as requested.
Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for GYN/Onc specialty, which may include on‑call schedules.
