Exciting full-time Family Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Tarboro, North Carolina. MainStreet Family Care is growing and seeking a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team full time. You will provide patient-focused care to help patients feel better fast in a high-volume urgent care environment. This role offers the opportunity to utilize full scope of practice across patients of all ages in urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine settings. Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues Perform minor procedures (e.g., toenail removal, foreign object removal) Suturing Splinting and general orthopedic evaluations/management Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist) General dermatology and eye problem management General EKG interpretations Emergency management and general GYN care Treating children of all ages and providing occupational medicine services Telemedicine services as part of patient care Schedule
MainStreet Clinic hours: open 7 days a week with extended hours Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Example: Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON) Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF) Qualifications
Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required MSN or higher required (new graduate friendly) DOT certification or willingness to obtain (we cover the certification cost) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office Suite preferred Compensation and Benefits
