Overview
AVIR AT SWEETWATER, a small, charming, skilled nursing and post-acute care facility that provides great care, is currently seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated in-house therapy team. We seek an SLP who is passionate about delivering the best possible care to our patients and residents and who wants to be part of a fun, high energy, inter-disciplinary team. We see a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions and offer opportunities for you to create programs in cognition, memory care, return to home, and many more. Responsibilities
Provide speech-language pathology services to patients and residents as part of an in-house therapy team.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing cognition, memory care, return to home, and related goals.
Collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team to meet patient goals and ensure quality of care.
Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
