In this Co-op opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. Working with experienced engineers to design/develop multi-chip modules Designing semi-lumped RF matching networks, integrated passive devices, couplers, etc. Running simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc. Participating and presenting in design reviews Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment Troubleshooting and resolving design or technical issues Collaborating with other engineers and technicians Required Experience and Skills
Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering MS (preferred) or Ph.D. program Ability to start in Jan 2026. Commitment to work onsite for 6 months Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact Strong career interest in RF/microwave engineering and electromagnetics Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS is highly preferred Hands-on experience in a lab using a network analyzer and other RF instruments is highly preferred Knowledge of PA design is a plus Compensation
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern is USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay depends on education level, job duties, requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Equal Opportunity
