We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to develop embedded software for equipment ranging from bare‑metal to embedded Linux, collaborating across software, electrical, control, and mechanical disciplines.

What You’ll Do

Design and modify equipment in cross‑discipline teams, creating documentation for each design.

Develop software in C, C++, Bash, and Python on bare metal and RHEL‑compatible Linux containers.

Collaborate with New Product Introduction, Field Service, and Operations teams to manufacture and support equipment.

Drive innovation by creating solutions that do not yet exist, keeping Micron competitive.

Support existing designs, responding to manufacturing and production support needs.

Hands‑on work with electronics, computers, and lab equipment in a lab environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience in C and C++.

Fundamental mixed‑signal knowledge.

Knowledge of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.

Experience with Linux and the GNU toolchain.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of industry embedded experience.

Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.

Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory).

Experience with embedded software tools and mixed‑signal circuits.

Proficiency with schematics, PCB layout, and Linux/GNU toolchain.

In‑depth knowledge of lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, SMUs).

Experience building physical systems (software + hardware).
