We have animmediate opening for a Field Service Technician in our Battery Department at our Salt Lake City Branch. This is a dual role working on batteries and material handling equipment. Job Duties:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Industrial Batteries and chargers for material handling equipment Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Toyota material handling equipment and all other makes of lift trucks, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, etc. Ability to convey product knowledge and provide a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain regular communication with service managers, parts department, and dispatchers to expedite repairs and service. Maintain timely and accurate accounting of labor hours, work orders, parts used for inventory. Maintain a service van and its inventory. Must Haves:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer vocational training as a mechanic. Minimum of two years automotive repair or technician experience working in a related industry. Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, batteries, transmissions, engines, gas and LP systems. Strength to lift up to 75 lbs, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, and kneeling required. Clean driving record, willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.
