Responsibilities

Act as the subject matter expert for validation on customer test requirements and results. Review and challenge current test plans, coverage, and testing activities to drive increased effectiveness and efficiencies across the product portfolio. Recommend and instrument new validation approaches that drive better coverage, more accurate testing, and expanded testing services. Root-cause and drive failures to closure, while articulating the associated risk. Evaluate, refine and enforce validation processes/methodologies. Contribute to the ongoing development of in-house automation frameworks and tools. Utilize technical, project, and delegation experience to actively lead product test cycles. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates. Enable shift-left efforts to move detection of failures from customer tests to internal-developed and maintained test frameworks. Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a SSD Validation Engineer-related occupation. Customer Test Requirements PCIe/NVMe Log Analysis Drive Debug Analysis System Debug Log Analysis Responsible for OEM Customer Validation testing, requirements, and qualifications. Compensation and Benefits

The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $167,212.00 - $233,000.
