Champion Home Builders, Inc. is hiring a Jobsite Superintendent to join our team in the Southern New Jersey region. We are a leader in the manufactured housing industry, delivering factory-built solutions including single-family and multi-family homes, modular buildings, and related products. Take direction from the Project Manager for the execution of daily tasks. Assist in managing the flow of materials from suppliers and within the job site. Ensure materials arrive on time, are of the proper type and quantity, and are staged in their proper location. Assist in directing subcontractors in their daily work and maintaining a look-ahead schedule. Review and inspect the quality of work from Champion's factories and subcontractors. Create punch lists and coordinate their completion/resolution with subcontractors. Assist in coordinating and resolving warranty work from Champion's factory and subcontractors. Perform minor warranty work and apply knowledge of manufactured home production/repair. Maintain job site work logs, daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and safety documentation. Perform safety inspections per Champion's safety plan. Lead or participate in routine toolbox talks with all job site trades. Travel throughout the region to oversee various job sites. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Project Manager. Education And/Or Experience
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency. Knowledge of local building codes (e.g., 2009 IRC, UPC, IMC, 2011 NEC) preferred. 5 years of construction experience including residential construction and directing work crews or equivalent. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and PPE for various tasks. Ability to read drawing prints. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check; DOT knowledge preferred.
