IFP Automation is growing fast — and we’re looking for an
Electrical Design Engineer
to design the electrical control panels that drive world-class automation systems. This position is based at our Fishers, Indiana headquarters, with occasional travel to our newly expanded
UL 508A certified manufacturing center in Fort Wayne . You’ll also have the chance to occasionally support our Sales Engineers in the field, engaging directly with customers and seeing how your designs impact their operations. What You’ll Do
Design industrial control panels with AutoCAD Electrical
Handle equipment selection, BOMs, schematics, and compliance
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, vendors, and customers
Support testing and commissioning (in-house + on-site)
Occasionally partner with Sales Engineers to provide customer-facing technical support
What We’re Looking For
3+ years in industrial control panel design
Strong AutoCAD Electrical skills
Experience with VFDs, relays, instrumentation, and networking
Degree in EE, EET, or related field
Bonus Points for:
