What’s involved in this role: We are looking for an Automation Technician in Luxemburg, WI. Salary $35,40 $1.50 shift differential Double time on Sundays and holidays Schedule 2-2-3, 12-hour shifts from 6pm to 6am Monitor automated systems using a computer Troubleshoot automation systems using various PLC programs Monitor and troubleshoot HMI systems, making adjustments or modifications as needed Perform checks and calibration of plant floor equipment Perform scheduled maintenance work Complete documentation for scheduled maintenance work Install new electrical circuits What you need to join our team: Associate’s or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology or related field required Experience with reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, including redlining schematics for updates Experience wiring electrical control panels or equipment, remote actuators, and inputs/outputs, as well as plumbing, pneumatic, or hydraulic lines Experience planning, selecting, testing, installing, and maintaining equipment and systems Minimum one (1) year of related experience required Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered Where you’ll be working: Agropur’s US operations produce 1 billion pounds of quality, award-winning cheese annually, creating over 20 varieties, and providing whey protein and dry ingredients as by-products of cheesemaking.
