For Electrical Project services in the Capital area.
Overview Position: Electrical Project Manager in the Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry. Location: Carolina, Puerto Rico. Employment type: Contract. Seniority level: Mid-Senior level.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage manufacturing capital projects to achieve project objectives from conceptual design through operational verification (cradle to grave cycle).
Supervise the construction of the building's electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
Manage and oversee the construction of the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Be on-site to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure that all work is being performed according to the project plan.
Provide feedback and comments on change orders, ensuring that any modifications are necessary, cost-effective, and do not compromise the project's integrity.
Deliver projects by managing project scope, schedule, and budget while identifying and mitigating risks, prioritizing Safety First and Quality Always.
Lead with a disciplined, structured approach to project management based on compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.
Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans for projects; ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies, procedures, and work rules for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors from conceptual design through operational verification.
Develop and maintain effective communication with the project team; facilitate issue resolution, anticipate scope changes, and implement safely with quality, speed, and value.
Review project plans and specifications; monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Conduct regular site walkdowns to review quality and progress.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
Maintain documentation of project activities, plans, designs, reports, and updates.
Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and report on financial status.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science and five plus (5+) years of exposure within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills (English and Spanish).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferable).
OSHA 30.
Experience in: Manage all aspects of project(s): planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up; Construction project within the Pharma or Industrial manufacturing facilities; Electrical systems.
Shift: Administrative & according to business needs.
Personality & Fit
Customer-service oriented and collaborative; able to work with clients, team members, and resources as part of a cohesive unit.
