5+ years of experience in a modern fabrication shop. It is essential to comprehend and follow written and verbal directions in a safe and productive manner. Strong math skills with mechanical aptitude required. Well versed in projects from mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum by using blueprints, plans and shop drawings/layouts. CNC fabricating equipment experience is expected. Responsibilities
Cut, form, weld and fabricate mill finished structures and/or finished goods. Set up and operate mechanical and CNC fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, drills, plasma table and torches. Position, align, fit and weld together parts using jigs and manually. Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and have a maintenance background. Use tape measures, compass, squares and micrometers to ensure proper size and diameter of raw materials and finished projects. Must have own tools and ability to purchase upgrades as needed. Company will supply all consumables and power tools as needed. Qualifications
Ability to read blueprints, plans and shop drawings and work safely in a production environment. Experience with milling/fabrication and welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills. Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Benefits
