Job Purpose
Perform production and developmental testing, troubleshooting for Power and Control Electronic Test Department. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
Support performance verification for flight hardware for Power & Controls Sub-Systems, RF Systems, and Spacecraft Systems Perform complex electrical, mechanical and environmental set-ups. Perform spacecraft and antenna instrumentation Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) verification Support vibration and shock verification Perform in-process quality inspections during integrated set-ups and performance verification sequences Operate thermal vacuum chambers while performing electrical verification of hardware Perform complex electrical set-ups, quality inspections, and product performance verification during flight unit level vibration Assist troubleshooting and repairs on thermal vacuum chambers for flight hardware. May operate vibration equipment. Will train peers, and may be asked provide leadership as required. Use microscopes, lab equipment, drawings, schematics, and bill of materials (BOM) to verify manufacturing Operate vibration equipment, while contributing value to the electrical set-up and verification Program and operate Manufacturing Defect Analysis System. Interprets results, troubleshoots and recommends remedies. Collaborates with Design and Test Engineers to perform troubleshooting. Assist in determining problem resolutions Education and Experience
AS degree, Electronics Technician Certificate, or completion of Military Electronics training. Two additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree. Four years of electronics experience MS office Ability to use small hand tools for measuring and testing electronics devices Preferred Qualifications
BSEE degree Navy Nuclear ET, or EM This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident. Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer Salary Range(annual): $74,000 - $100,000 ($34.61 - $48.07 per hour + graveyard shift differential). Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
