Job Description:
This position is responsible for supporting manufacturing processes, including the implementation of electrical projects to ensure the safe, responsible, and efficient production of Thermoplastic Polyurethane and Polycarbonate films. Responsibilities:
Integrate the site's incident-free workplace culture into all activities. Manage large electrical safety-related projects and provide leadership on site safety teams. Investigate and propose solutions for complex electrical safety concerns. Manage activities related to Management of Change for complex processes and projects. Lead complex electrical and controls projects, playing a significant role in at least one large project. Provide electrical engineering support to complex capital and continuous improvement projects across the site. Be fluent with industrial electrical standards, the site's electrical distribution system, and equipment. Perform detailed calculations to develop designs, specifications, and standards for electrical systems. Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Use root cause analysis techniques to identify issues with electrical equipment or reliability problems. Lead teams through structured problem-solving activities to resolve issues. Possess a continuous improvement mindset. Lead complex continuous improvement initiatives at the site as electrical engineering support. Identify opportunities and develop solutions for improvement activities. Collaborate with Process and Quality Engineering to develop and implement small to mid-size electrical projects. Support troubleshooting during the start-up of new equipment. Update Standard Operating Procedures and provide operator training activities related to electrical projects. Utilize understanding of business and economic drivers to identify and develop project opportunities at the site. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical highly preferred) 8+ years of experience in relevant fields Additional Details:
