Mid-Level Air Vehicle Engineering Manager | Structures – The Boeing Company, via Dice. Location: Oklahoma City, OK. Position

Mid-Level Air Vehicle Engineering Manager to lead the USAF E-7 Structures team in Oklahoma City, OK. Role focuses on the integration of air vehicle technical requirements, certification strategies, and cost and schedule management through Earned Value Management (EVM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural integrity, design leadership, and team management with a strong emphasis on safety and technical excellence. Position Responsibilities

Primary structures engineering interface to the Program Management Office, Integrated Product Team Leader and the USAF customer. Manage Earned Value Management (EVM) related activities. Lead Structural Integrity Team (static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis). Coordinate air vehicle technical integration across teams. Provide structures design leadership. Develop certification strategy. Uphold technical excellence and safety standards. Cost and schedule management using EVM. Support Safety Review Board (SRB) processes. Develop Engineering Change Packages. Interface with suppliers and aircraft operations. Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor of Science from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or non-US equivalent related to the work statement. 5+ years of experience as a manager leading engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

Strong communication skills with experience presenting to boards, regulators, and senior customers. Ability to support operations and team in a 24/7 environment. Experience with airplane structural design and analysis. Familiarity with aerospace certification standards and processes. Experience delivering pragmatic engineering solutions balancing safety, performance, schedule, and cost. Results-oriented leader with a focus on safety, compliance, and delivery predictability. Experience with Non-Recurring Product Development (NRPD) and EVM. Change agent fostering continuous improvement, digital engineering adoption, and cross-functional collaboration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with all management levels, customers, and partners. Master of Science in an engineering discipline (preferred). Prior management experience; ability to mentor and guide individuals and teams. Ability to hire high-performance talent, grow leaders, and support underperforming members. Ability to build trust and provide career guidance. Other Information

Total Rewards & Pay Transparency: Competitive base pay and variable compensation; eligible benefits including health, retirement, and time away from work. Summary pay range: $141,100 - $190,900.
