We are seeking a degreed

Electrical Engineer

with the desire to work within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment within a growing organization. The Electrical Engineer will work with senior engineering staff from the initial conceptual electrical design to construction and commissioning of large and small facilities type projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a diverse and experienced staff to resolve complex problems while benefiting from a solid quality control process. Responsibilities

Perform design computations Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools Develop construction cost estimates Prepare and compile contract plans, specifications and estimates Attend meetings with clients Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering Must successfully complete and pass Motor Vehicle screening 5-10 years’ experience related to electrical power distribution, power generation, motor controls, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm design, telecommunications network design, or security systems design Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of Autodesk CADD and Autodesk Revit Proficient in discipline-specific design software Written and communication skills Understanding and application of NEC, IBC, and NFPA codes for completing electrical design work Preferred Experience

Professional Engineer License Working knowledge of Microsoft Project Working knowledge of Bentley’s MicroStation Working knowledge of Electrical Modeling Software such as SKM Power Tools or ETAP Working knowledge of Lighting Modeling Software such as AGi32 or ElumTools Familiarity with electrical testing apparatus Experience working with federal, state, and local government agencies and codes Experience working with local clients at the county and state level Working Conditions

Office environment 90% of the time; some field work may be required Occasional travel within the region (approximately 90 miles) Must Have
