We are currently seeking an experienced

CAD Designer

to support natural gas pipeline projects in

Lexington, KY .

This position can be hybrid from Lexington, KY, Pittsburgh, PA, or Atlanta, GA.

What you'll be doing:

Contributing to project production sheets by laying out plans, alignments, details, and other sheets as necessary.

Using various methodologies and techniques to accurately label and add notation to sheets.

Preparing minor mathematical and quantity calculations for pipeline/linear alignment projects.

Researching applicable design codes and guidelines to ensure compliance.

Researching design options and documenting findings.

Working directly with engineers to understand project goals and scopes.

Coordinating assignments with the project team and supervisor.

Performing quality control reviews of design plans and calculations.

Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Working remotely across the company's offices and assisting adjacent groups as needed.

What you need to have:

Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D, including years of experience and a reference contact for quality verification.

Natural gas pipeline experience.

Safety-oriented mindset.

Associate degree from a technical or four-year college.

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).

Preferred qualifications:

Degree in Computer Aided Drafting or similar field.
