Field Service Engineer II – Honeywell Apply to join Honeywell as a Field Service Engineer II. This role involves customer interaction, technical configuration and maintenance of Honeywell control systems, and collaboration with Sales and end-users. Responsibilities
Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative issues Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a primary customer contact for service-related issues and inquiries Configure, maintain, and resolve Honeywell hardware and software issues including Experion PKS and other DCS hardware/software such as LCN and TPS Upgrade Experion software from one release to another on live control systems without interrupting the customer’s industrial process Migrate legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell’s new technology offering Understand customer key processes and economic drivers to translate those into business opportunities, providing timely research and recommendations Assist Sales during sales pursuits and be the face of Honeywell to end-users Learn the end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions Use technical expertise of Honeywell solutions/product offerings to improve customer experience Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering or related fields Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time WE VALUE Experience with Experion PKS hardware and software, in addition to Hiway, TDS and TPS system experience Ability to obtain multiple L3 certifications within 18 months Software configuration, migration experience, project engineering experience, virtualization, Cyber process control, electrical, or other application experience Good communication and organizational skills Benefits
