CGI is seeking an Automation Engineer, where you'll design and develop Python Scripts to automate performance tasks across Windows and macOS platforms. You'll work with cutting-edge tools like PyAutoGUI, PyWinAuto, and ATmacOS to streamline desktop workflows, while managing dependencies with pip for smooth deployment. Your expertise will help enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Design and develop Python Scripts for performance automation tasks.

Package and manage Python dependencies using pip, ensuring smooth installation and deployment.

Implement cross-platform automation solutions using Python, targeting both Windows and macOS environments.

Develop desktop automation workflows using tools like PyAutoGUI, PyWinAuto, and ATmacOS. Improve, refactor and maintain the existing performance automation.

Build and maintain console applications using .NET C#, with a focus on performance and scalability.

Integrate automation workflows with tools such as Xray API, GitHub API, and Jenkins for CI/CD and test management.

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and development teams to ensure seamless integration and performance validation.

Create user-friendly UI applications using .NET C# for internal tools and dashboards.

Required Qualifications

At Least 10+ years of experience as Automation Engineer.

5+ years current experience in Python scripting, including experience with pip packaging and dependency management.

5+ years current hands‑on experience with cross‑platform automation using Python.

3+ years experience current with desktop automation tools like PyAutoGUI, PyWinAuto (Windows), and ATmacOS (macOS).

2+ years of experience with Xray API, GitHub API, and Jenkins is highly desirable.

5+ years of design and OOPs knowledge in implementing cross platform scripting.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Working knowledge of .NET C#, especially in building console applications.

2 years of experience with UI development in .NET C# is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Compensation Range A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $150,800.00.
