Overview

As part of the Atlas Copco Group, we strive to deliver innovative, sustainable products and top-tier service. This role supports our Systems Area by coordinating the full production order process—from planning to completion—while driving operational efficiency through Lean Manufacturing. Responsibilities

Manage production orders: creation, revision, release, and completion. Coordinate material planning, transfers, and shortages with Supply Chain and vendors. Maintain master order log and update SAP records. Support shop floor operations: order packets, material picking, and discrepancy resolution. Collaborate with Order Management, Assembly, Shipping, and Planning teams. Drive process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Conduct time studies and revise routings/BOMs to reflect actual work. Support tooling setup and optimization for manufacturing equipment. Document procedures and train workforce to sustain competencies. Address quality issues with internal teams and suppliers. Track KPIs including labor efficiency, OTD, and hour variance. Assist with inventory control and material master accuracy. Lead weekly project reviews and provide updates. Perform month-end absorption and other duties as assigned. Education & Experience

Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred; science degrees acceptable with relevant manufacturing/operations experience. 3-5 years in a manufacturing or production planning/engineering role. Skills & Knowledge

Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable to shifting priorities. Strong process orientation and continuous improvement mindset. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP experience (SAP preferred). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 6S principles. Experience in manufacturing engineering tasks such as time studies, routing, and tooling. Other Requirements
