Base pay range

Objective: Lead the control system solution for the project, ensuring alignment with the overall program's automation philosophy, standards, and user requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the project's technical aspects. Work with program technical teams to ensure the automation solution is consistent with the program's philosophy and standards. Partner with Digital/MES workstream leads to align automation and digital solutions. Provide technical direction to multiple area leads, ensuring adherence to applicable standards. Ensure uniformity in automation deliverables, including requirements, functional specifications, control strategies, phases, and recipes. Participate in P&ID and control strategy evaluations. Assist in defining the necessary software components for creation or modification. Update the automation project manager on progress, issues, and needs for the area. Contribute to, review, and approve functional requirements and specifications. Aid in the creation of Parameter and Recipe Specification documents. Address technical questions from system integrators. Support the development of software testing strategies. Recognize any remediation needs for process control software. Log issues in the tracker that arise after software acceptance. Identify and analyze technical risks for the area and plan appropriate responses. Ensure adherence to training requirements. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Over 10 years of automation experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in API/bulk manufacturing. Prior experience with large-scale pharmaceutical automation projects/programs. Proficiency with DeltaV DCS; familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs is preferred. Exceptional collaboration skills. Strong understanding of GMPs, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
