Occupational Health / Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for a full-time, temp-to-hire or direct hire opportunity with Yoh's well-known client located in Modesto, CA. This is a busier clinic seeing about 14-16 patients a day (both in person and telehealth visits). They offer occupational and primary care services for employees of a large corporation, including their families ages 2+. 50/50 primary care and injury/workers' comp visits. Active/unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in state of California Current prescription authority required and DEA highly preferred Minimum two years experience as a provider Preferred experience in Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Corrections, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice settings What You0Need to Do
Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns Provide first-aid medical treatment Trigger point meds, immunizations, and travel vaccines Perform onsite physical assessments (pre-placement, return-to-work, fitness-for-duty) Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc. Provide medical testing such as spirometry, EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests Provide onsite testing for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia Workers' compensation assessments What You Need to Bring to the Table
