Process Control Engineer

**Primary Responsibilities:**
The objective of the Process Control Engineer is to support the implementation of effective manufacturing processes at the Mt. Clemens site. The successful candidate will work with a team of Process Control and software engineers at the Mount Clemens site. The team is responsible for the design, programming, commissioning, and support of the various control systems at the site.
Provide 24/7 support to ensure safe and reliable manufacturing through process control and automation.
Develop, establish, and maintain world-class Automation and Process Control capabilities utilizing internal and external EI&C resources.
**Qualifications:**
Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical and related industries.
Minimum of 3 years of process control experience.
Extensive knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control strategies, including the application of instrumentation and control equipment.
Experience with industrial network design.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and VFDs, including ABB, Siemens, and Rockwell control system platforms.
Experience across control system platforms (AB Rockwell/Siemens/ABB-Bailey).
Experience with Data Historians (Aspentech IP21 or Aveva PI).
Experience applying ISA standards for automation process control (Safety Instrumented Systems - IEC61511; Manufacturing Cyber Security – IEC62443; Alarm Management – IEC62682).
Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering or technical discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Chemical engineering) with a background in industrial process control systems, or a combination of education and experience in applying process control and automation technology.
Deep technical ability and strong mechanical aptitude.
