Overview Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: Variable Shifts and Days; On Call Requirement
Sign-On: $10k Sign On Bonus (External applicants only)
Join the Interventional Radiology Team in the Cardiology Invasive Lab at MetroHealth.
Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the fluoroscopy operator, assist with a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures across vascular, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, interventional radiology, and neuroscience service lines.
Support a patient population ranging from infancy through geriatric.
Provide a safe and supportive care environment for procedures involving fluoroscopy.
Work in a multipurpose role aligned with MetroHealth policies and the applicable ODH regulations.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Valid Radiographer License for the State of Ohio
Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtain within 1 year of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the AHA or obtain within probationary period
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis
Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
One year of related experience with ARRT in Vascular Interventional and/or Cardiac Interventional Radiography
Experience with computers and diagnostic equipment
Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and ECG interpretation
Experience working with a sterile field and sterile technique
Experience operating a C-arm
Physical Demands
May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently
May need to sit or stand for extended periods
See and hear within normal ranges (with or without correction)
Lift 250-300 pounds with assistance; push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance
Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products
