Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of patients treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs. May be assigned to orient staff and students and assume the duties of the supervisor in their absence. Assesses patients' needs; identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions; collaborates with other healthcare team members to maintain standards for professional practice and interdisciplinary teamwork. Evaluates treatment effects, progress toward goals, and recommends changes to physicians as needed. Performs assessments and reassessments on each patient, performs accurate and timely QI scoring. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics requiring medical rehabilitation services. Assesses patient pain that interferes with rehabilitation; implements interventions to reduce pain and contacts physicians for further intervention if necessary. Develops and updates patient-specific plans of care for physical therapy. Performs other duties as assigned. What We Offer

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California. Inpatient rehab experience preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification. About Us
