Physician MD/DO
at Lake Area Medical Associates in Cleveland, Oklahoma. We are a successful
Rural Healthcare Clinic
owned by an independent Critical Access Hospital, 35 minutes West of Tulsa. Our facility, services, and staff have been on a positive trajectory for ten years, and our health system is positioned for new hospital construction in the next three years. Duties and Responsibilities: The physician will provide medical care to patients. They will participate in implementing clinical policies and collaborate with providers. They will assist in reviewing the clinic's mid-level medical records in accordance with the clinic's policy. They will be available to provide patient care during the clinic’s regular hours of operation and may assist in medical emergencies as needed. They will work with the team to arrange patient referrals for services that cannot be provided within the clinic. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills; strong analytical skills. Ability to maintain confidential information concerning personal and medical matters. Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to interact well with patients and co-workers. Work Experience and Education: Graduated from a United States-accredited medical school Holds current Oklahoma license to practice medicine Current DEA Controlled substance registration Experience in a clinic setting preferred Other certifications as necessary to perform clinical duties Benefits: No RVU pressure Challenging and rewarding work in a collaborative, team environment.
