Monday - Friday, No Weekends Hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, No Nights, No On-Call Annual Base Pay Range:
$110,000 - $170,000 CME Expenses:
$2,500 annually CME Activities:
3 days per year Job Description
The Stem Cell Nurse Practitioner works under physician supervision, providing patient care in hematology-oncology, stem cell, and bone marrow transplant services. Key Responsibilities
Apply the nursing process to ensure high-quality patient care. Manage a defined patient population independently in collaboration with a physician. Conduct physical exams, identify issues, and intervene as needed. Follow established protocols and procedures. Assist in developing medical care methods and systems. Maintain clear communication with the healthcare team. Perform assessments, monitor progress, and adjust care plans. Identify abnormal findings, diagnose, and manage health conditions, including ordering labs and prescribing treatments. Educate and counsel patients for comprehensive care. Participate in performance improvement and stay updated with research. Attend meetings and perform additional duties as required. Required Experience
Master’s Degree in Nursing At least three years of clinical oncology experience Current RN and NP licenses in Georgia National certification from ANCC or AANP DEA certification within 6 months of hire Active BLS and ACLS certifications Specialty certification as required Benefits
