Responsibilities
Provide care at Vetco Vaccination Clinics (wellness examinations, preventive vaccinations and medications, heartworm testing, and microchip insertion; no surgeries, emergencies, or sick visits).
Provide care at Vetco Total Care Hospitals (preventive care, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures). You will partner with the area medical director before shifts to review the comfort level of cases.
Be supported by trained staff and an appointment-based model to manage patient flow and ensure a high-quality patient experience.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & vaccines
DEA in good standing preferred for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
