Overview
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services at elementary schools in San Bernardino, CA. This role involves supporting students from PreK through elementary levels, including those in general education and with moderate to severe needs. Two leave coverage positions are open, with differing contract durations spanning the 2025-2026 school year.
Responsibilities
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students ranging from PreK to elementary age.
Address a diverse caseload including general education and moderate to severe disabilities.
Maintain a caseload consistent with school requirements, typically serving 1-2 school sites.
Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
Document student progress and participate in team meetings as required.
Adapt therapy delivery methods, including in-person and teletherapy as appropriate.
Qualifications
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP preferred).
Experience in pediatric speech therapy within educational or healthcare settings.
Ability to manage caseloads and develop treatment plans for diverse student needs.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Teletherapy experience is a plus.
Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply.
Contract Details
Location: San Bernardino, CA (Elementary School).
Position 1: November 2025 through at least March 2026.
Position 2: March 2026 through June 2026.
Hours: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Caseload: PreK through elementary, general education to moderate/severe needs.
Serving 1-2 school sites.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation for this position ranges from $47.53 to $67.53 per hour. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
