Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist to support our clients team in Denver, CO. This is a full-time, 13-week contract.
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II for a contract-to-hire opportunity at a secure state prison facility in Denver, CO. This is a unique opportunity for a professional phlebotomist who is comfortable working in a high-security, highly regulated environment. This role is fully onsite with no remote option and will include state background screening prior to start.
Important Work Environment Details
This is a prison-based role working with male and female inmates (primarily drug-related offenses).
No phones, smartwatches, or personal electronics allowed on site (must be left in vehicle).
Scrub color restrictions: No blue or red (due to gang affiliation policies).
Tattoos must be covered at all times.
Zero tolerance for drug / alcohol use mandatory testing may be enforced by facility at any time.
Absolutely no interaction or small talk with inmates is allowed. Strict guidelines must be followed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and specialized venipuncture
Process blood and specimen samples for testing
Enter data and maintain accurate documentation
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Must be comfortable working in a prison or correctional setting

Location: Denver, CO
Job Type: 13-wks contract
Pay Range: $20 - $23 hourly
Shifts: 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday Friday
Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
