Unit Name: Epstein 2 Pediatric Psychiatry. Brief Unit Description: Inpatient Program, patients ages 3 to 17 years of age who require inpatient stay receive 24-hour care through our child and adolescent services program. We offer a nurturing and non-coercive environment. Years of Experience Required: 2 years minimum. Skill Sets Required: Trauma informed, patient-centered, and verbally capable of de-escalating patients. Clinician to Patient Ratio: RN to Patient: 1 to 3. Patient Population: Children ages 3-17. Bed Count: 30. Census: 20-25. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. Floating Required: Yes, to other behavioral health areas within the Epstein Units and AMHU. Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, up to 20% for Day positions. Not required for Night positions. Job Requirements:
Massachusetts RN License 2 years minimum experience Trauma informed care skills Patient-centered care skills Ability to de-escalate patients verbally Schedule Information:

AHA, Red Cross, CHSF or Military. Brigham & Women's Faulkner, Cooley Dickinson, Nantucket Cottage hospitals prefer AHA, will accept Red Cross. Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification, as required for the position. Within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration. MA Conditional Licenses not accepted. Both NURSYS and BON are required for nursing licenses.
