About The Position Job Description & Requirements
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide services to children of all ages, including counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and the regular student population. Responsibilities will include: Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths. Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans. Providing individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments. Providing crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed. Coordinating outreach activities that support students and families.
Required Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology. State Certification and/or Licensure is Required to Start the Assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a School Setting is Preferred. Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members. Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations. Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions.
