Position Overview
The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses, conducting research, student advising, student mentoring and recruitment, curriculum development, conducting scholarly activities and all other activities required for tenure. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, engaging in accreditation procedures, program assessment and service to the department, College and University as needed.
This is a 9-month tenure track position. Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline; and an academic record fitting the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank.

N.C. A&T is a public, land-grant, doctoral research institution and has been the largest historically Black university in the country for the past decade. With an enrollment of 14,311 students in Fall 2024, the university offers 59 undergraduate degree programs, 36 master's programs, and 12 doctoral programs. Nationally recognized for its leadership and excellence in STEM education and research, N.C. A&T is classified as "R2-High Research Activity" in the Carnegie Classifications and is poised to achieve "R1-Very High Research Activity" status. Minimum Requirements
Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a closely related discipline; and an academic record fitting of the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Applicants should have a strong research record or professional work experience in AI, Computer Vision, and Cyber Defense. Preference will be given to those with a strong research background in Quantum Computing. Employee Benefits
